A production by Independent Theather Marathon – Bucharest Fringe

Paper Planes by Elise Wilk portrays the story of six fragile teenagers who are dealing with a number of problems: identity crisis, harassment and maternal abandonment.

The contemporary issue of parents who are leaving to work abroad is often depicted in the story. The play studies this phenomenon and more precisely the aftereffect and how does a teenager react to the feeling of early abandonment. The characters are really responsible for how they act, or their behaviour is just the result of external circumstances, which we often choose to ignore? The audience will give the final verdict.
